Palladio, Paid tail dyo, Andrea 151 1580, one of the greatest classical architects of the 16th century, born at Vicent Italy. After study of ancient monument at Rome, he returned to his birthplace and became famous as a designer of many noble edifices, in which he mastered knowledge, skill and taste adapting the style of Roman architect to the needs of his time. His buildings are characterized by dignity and breach of treatment and beauty of design. They include an arcade around the Basilica Vicenza, the Barbarano and Chieri palaces, and his masterpiece, the Moantonio Tiene Palace the Roton Capra Villa and the Church of II Redtore.,
