Palmer, Massachusetts

Palmer, Massachusetts, a town of Hampden County, on the Chicopee River, 15 miles northeast of Springfield, and on the Boston Albany division of the New York Central and Central Vermont railroads. The manufactures include wire goods, cotton goods, carpets and other articles. A good high school is maintained. The town includes the villages of Bondsville, Thorndike and Three Rivers. Population in 1920. 9,896.
